What it actually is
A double-breasted trench in cotton-look twill with every classic detail: storm flaps across the chest and back, button tabs at the cuffs, welt pockets and a rear vent. Those details aren't decoration — the trench was designed as rainwear, and each one has a job. The storm flaps add a second layer where rain hits first, the cuff tabs close the sleeves against wind, and the rear vent lets the coat open as you walk so it never pulls across the legs. Twill is a tightly woven diagonal fabric, which makes it dense, wind-resistant and hard-wearing while still draping well. The relaxed, slightly oversized cut is what makes it a three-season coat: light enough over a shirt in September, roomy enough over a chunky jumper in November.
