What it actually is
A pullover hoodie cut oversized: dropped shoulders, a wide body and long sleeves, so it sits away from the figure rather than following it. The fabric is a brushed fleece-back knit — smooth on the outside, soft and napped on the inside. That brushed inner surface is what traps a thin layer of warm air against the skin, which is why a fleece-back hoodie feels warmer than a plain sweatshirt of the same thickness while still staying breathable indoors. The hood is lined and adjustable with a drawstring, and the cuffs and hem are ribbed so the shape holds after washing.
